| Compatible
Business Model: |
|
|
We only work for law firms and
do not provide any services to your clients. Further
since GlobalStep is not a law firm with US based
attorneys, we will never be a competition to you now
or anytime in the future. We are uniquely positioned
as a resource to the experts.
All of our lines of service are similarly
positioned in a consistent strategic alignment and
do not provide any services to your clients.
Our attorneys work under your supervision and
direction. |
|
| The Indian
Talent Pool: |
|
|
The Indian Legal System is
based on British Common Law and the top Indian Law
Schools impose an academic rigor similar to that
imposed in the law schools in the U.K. and the U.S.
Judicial proceedings in India are carried out in
English. There are close to a million attorneys'
in India. GlobalStep offices in India are based in
Delhi. Delhi is the seat of the Indian Supreme
Court as well as the Delhi High Court. This
provides us with access to an incredible talent
pool. |
|
| Our People: |
|
|
We seek professionals from the
top tier law schools with a blue chip work
experience. Additionally we place a strong emphasis
on critical reasoning and logical thinking,
analytical skills, and excellence in written and
oral communications. |
|
| Our Approach: |
|
|
In additional to general legal
skills, we focus our professionals on developing
expertise in specific functional areas like
commercial contracts, corporate law, restructuring,
intellectual property, and litigation support. |
|
| Client Billing |
|
|
There is a strong
justification for you to bill at your normal rates
for the work performed by GlobalStep professionals.
Our staff is a virtual extension of your service
delivery infrastructure. You are responsible for the
quality of the work produced and for a final review
of the work product. Our services are similar to
having contract staff assisting you or compensation
paid to your in-house professional staff. |
|
| Disclosure Requirements: |
|
|
There is no pronouncement
requiring disclosure to clients or third parties
when you use contract resources that are supervised
by you and are integrated into your service delivery
processes. |
|
| Critical Operating
Factors |
|
|
We regard Security,
Confidentiality, Disaster Planning, and Connectivity
to be our critical operating factors. And maintain a
zealous focus on them through an integrated approach
that involves Stringent Hiring procedures,
Background Checks, Confidentiality Agreements, Data
Security, Physical Security, Controlled Access to
print and electronic media, Detailed Termination
Processes, and Data Surveillance. |
